Spent Saturday arvo at the Guiness Storehouse. Dave hadn't been there yet and I was interested to have a look.
Me in the lobby. The building is really cool, its been converted into a sort of museum. Great conversion, good graphics, nice layout, an arvo well spent. The building is sort of broken up into areas based on the ingredients of Guiness. The following photos are from the water room.

Plenty of old, existing machinery and plumbing has been left in the building.
BarrelsAt the very top is the Gravity Bar, where you can redeem your 1 free pint of Guiness. It has 360' views over Dublin.

Dave and Clare
For the rest of the day we took a walk around Dublin, ate fish and chips and soaked up some sun.... in Dublin... wtf??Went out that night to a few bars and pubs.

We met up with Clares brother later on at a really traditional pub. Loads of Guiness flowing, funny convos, Irish band downstairs, heaps of jokes and generally good craic.
Clares bro Pete in the left and his mates, John in the middle and can't remember the other bloke. Within about 2 min if chatting it was as if they had known me all my life. Irish conversation is legendary.Nursing hangovers we walked around the river on Sunday as there was some kind of festival going on.
Tall ships
I sent this photo to Fail Blog. Spanish donuts... the taste of France.
Ando looking like some kind of international criminal under surveilance.Always good to see The Captain, who knows what city we will meet up in next time???
