"Rural" England - Bath, Cotswolds and Chester

Hi again...

We've seen heaps since leaving London... Met up with Steve and Jo in London, picked up car (Mercedes 4 wheel drive no less, due to car hire place mistake) and headed out. First stop was Bath... Had a wander around the remnants of baths built in Roman times - so old!

The Main Roman Bath, in Bath

Next stop, the Cotswalds... Went to a couple of the larger towns, and found them to be nice but a bit touristy. Then we discovered a few tiny, really cool towns (including Camp where I scored my first horse ride!).

Steve also took us to a few gems he knew about - unanimous favourite was Painswick... Had a home cooked meal in the tiny local pub there.

After Cotswolds, off to Chester. Chester is a walled village right on the border of Wales... Lots of Welshys around!

Chinese dinner in Manchester (A+ dumplings!)

After a ripping week, we headed back to London to quickly repack and then off to France the next day.......
