Korcula

Next island that we visited in Croatia was beautiful Korcula. Much smaller than Hvar, and a little sleepier. We had some pretty ordinary weather when we checked in, but still managed to get a couple of nice days towards the end of our stay.

We stayed in a nice little apartment sharing the common areas with a really weird Aussie girl.

Much like Hvar, we spent a lot of time relaxing and not doing much.

Part of the city walls

The main town as seen from the other side of the bay.

The town is as small as it looks, we could walk right around the city walls in 30min.

Really beautiful though, and cool to explore.

Angie in the amphitheatre

Narrow Venetian style streets. The whole palce had a really sleepy feel when we were there. The peak summer season had just ended and it seemed to be mostly locals winding down and relaxing after the busy tourist season.

2 big ramparts guard the entrance to the Marina.

This was the terrace at our apartment. Dodgy weather in the background.

After a short stay of only a few days in Korcula, it was back on the ferry and off to Dubrovnik, our last stop before heading back to London.
